Entry Requirements:
The Qualcomm Million Dollar Challenge and training program take place on difficult and hilly terrain along the California coastline. The route is not closed and participants must be able to ride in traffic and obey all traffic laws. Million Dollar Challenge organizers reserve the right to remove participants from the event should they fail to comply with ALL traffic laws. Riders must wear a cycling helmet at all times while riding during the MDC.I understand that participation in the Million Dollar Challenge will be an extreme test of my physical and mental capabilities. It is recommended that all participants undergo a full physical evaluation by a qualified health professional prior to training for and participating in this event. I confirm that I am 18 years or older. Event Check-in: Fundraising Rules: 1. I understand that I am responsible to raise the full amount of my goal to participate in the event, and am responsible for any remaining unpaid entry balance by September 25, 2009 (Three weeks prior to the ride departure). 2. Please send your fundraising dollars in as you receive them. Make checks payable to the Challenged Athletes Foundation-MDC. Be sure to clearly mark your name on the donations you send in and we will track your progress. 3. All corporate matching funds (or your guarantee for those funds) must be in our office no later than October 16, 2009. We will accept a written letter from your company stating the exact amount that will be distributed and the date it will be sent. All checks must be in MDC office no later than Dec 1st in order to count for your 2009 fundraising. 4. In the event of safety or security concerns, CAF has the right to cancel all or any portion of the ride based on the sole judgment of the organization and without any obligation to reschedule the event or reimburse participants or donors.
